Daily Rhythm

fáil - te   [fall - cha] noun

1. Gaelic word meaning welcome and joy

That’s how each school day begins, and how we want every child to feel.

Our days are designed around developmentally appropriate expectations for children.

Daily Schedule:

  • Grades 1–2: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Grades 3 and up: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

All learning takes place in our new Bryn Mawr home on the campus of St. Luke United Methodist Church and the surrounding neighborhood.

Our school day is intentionally shorter than most—and there’s a reason for that. We’ve found that children learn best when they’re well-rested, emotionally regulated, and not pushed beyond their capacity.

Why Our Shorter Days Work:

01

We teach during their peak hours. Kids arrive rested and focused, ready to engage

03

It honors developmental needs. Younger students tire earlier, while older students are ready for more. That’s why 3rd grade and up start earlier and stay longer.

02

They leave before burnout. Ending early helps children stay regulated and end the day feeling successful.

04

It’s flexible by design. We adjust based on what children show us they need—because a one-size-fits-all schedule doesn’t serve growing minds.
